The decision...
Exam is over and yet there's still problem in my mind. It's minor Specialisation choice, i was given 2 options not more or less jus 2. I could choose to opt for Business Finance (BF) or Human Resource Mgt (HRM). Well, this two module i took it before back when i was in NYP and the thing is i hate maths.. i hate figures and going through BF back in ploy was a torture infact. But then HRM was such a boring module in nyp, the thought of reading those meaningless and not so useful notes is simply a waste of my time. HRM is a very dry topic i would say, something that mayb i guess i dun have to read and learn i could still apply it or possess it in my character. its jus about stuffing pp here and der... toking and pacifying them. BF lots of figures where you see them flying here and der and thoeries involves. am not worry about the theories, bcos am a theory queen. its the calculations part that am worry about.
I heard they saying that HRM was really easy just like what we did in poly.. so its easy to get a good result.. but then BF people said it was interesting. and my main concern is how would i fare for the minor. i can't afford to get a PAss of it... and my intuition tells me... doing HRM the probably of getting a Distinction is so much higher compared to BF which i think the best i could do was CRedit for it.
Pros and cons i believe... i understand what my heart really hopes to opt for but its so hard to convince my mind which going to work on the papers next semester. argh.. its just dun tally all the time like it always do.
The gers had chosed BF i guess, bcos they hate thoeries and they are those maths people you. their brain is more flexible.. while mine i think quite inflexible so it makes me a thoery person. i left with like less than 5 days to confirm my minor specialisation.
Looking at the modules am going to do next semester i feel like yawning:
*Ethics & Governance - sounds boring and dry...yucks
*Strategic & International Management - sounds chim & looks like it gonna take lots of theories
*Distribution Channels - Should be easy jus part of the marketing mix
*Business Finance / Human Resource Managemt (Optional) - a difficult choice.
i jus dun understand since am already in marketing specialization why don't it jus giv me all the makreting modules like advertising ands tuffs. why do i have to minor specialization. ANgry la!!
i hate figures from Accouting to Business Finance to Statistic to Economics!!!
i think i will do better in marketing module and those into international concept!
