i been thinking about the same thing over again. boss spoke me today about the merge over that will take place from 1st nov onwards.
and the werid thing is that, we are asked to submit out resignation letter and be re-employ again by the new MNC(George.P Johnson) and i have to go through another 3 mths of probation. no doubts our basic will go up, comparable to market rate. Which i believe is definitely sumthing that my existing company can't offer. After all is a Local VS MNC scenario.
It's the probation that am concern, its another 3 months that am not entitled to the benefits. And that's something that i really don't like and most of all still have give one mthnotice, just becos am a confirmed staff in the current company. The usual practice of probation staff should be a week, and my will ended up as a special case. I don't quite like the idea of this, but Gina said it might not be a bad thing, because she's sure i can survive that 3 months easily and upon confirmation i will get another increment again. Which is true, and that will be my 6th increment.
But seriously all these are just talking, am waiting for the agreement to be shown to me. And that's when i can make up my mind to stay or to leave.
